We are proud to provide one of the most extensive lesson programs available for golf enthusiasts in western Canada. 2011 Legends Club Championship
The Legends Club Championship finished up on August 21st with Duane Laskowski coming back from a 3 shot deficit from the first round to win the Mens division. Cec Jones came back with a good final round of 82 to finish first in the Senior division. Tammy Bezaire played great all weekend to win the Ladies Division. The Junior division came down to the wire with Cole Bergen winning by a shot on Sunday. It was a great turnout with beautiful weather all weekend long.
100th Saskatchewan Mens Amateur
The Legends Golf Club held the 100th Saskatchewan Mens Amateur this past summer. With the golf course in absolute great condition, players were also faced with some of the most unpredictable weather all year. The field was filled with some great players including former Team Canada Junior Team and Legends Golf Club own Jesse Gibson, 2011 Saskatchewan Mid-Amateur Cadmus Delorme, Saskatchewan Open qualifier Dallas Mengel and 2009 & 2010 Saskatchewan Mens Amateur defending Champion Scott Thompson. Although all these players contended at sometime during the event, 2011 Legends Open Troy Bulmer ended up edging out Langian Brad Blair by one shot by making a crucial 3 foot putt to win the 2011 Saskatchewan Men's Amateur. Also representing the Legends Golf Club during the competition were members Steve Silvernagle, Roy Bedient,Jay Tolley and Preston Cicchine.
The Legends Golf Club would also like to thank all the volunteers that helped make the event a complete success.
